Rental Terms and Requirements

Rental Eligibility

To qualify for a vehicle rental, all applicants must meet the following requirements. No exceptions will be made.

Required Documentation

Each renter must provide:

1. A valid South Carolina driver's license.

   • Out-of-state driver's licenses are not accepted.

2. A valid automobile insurance card issued in the renter's name.

3. Proof of current residence, such as a recent utility bill.

4. A current paystub verifying active employment.

Security Deposit

• A refundable cash security deposit of $100–$200 is required at the time of rental.

• The required deposit amount is determined by the renter's home ZIP code and intended travel area.

• Credit cards are not required.

Rental Rates

• Daily rental rates range from $50 to $85, depending on the vehicle selected and rental period.

Age Requirement

• Renters must be 21 years of age or older.

Mileage Policy

• Rentals include unlimited mileage within a 30-mile radius of Apple Rentals.

• Additional mileage or travel beyond this area may be subject to approval and additional charges.

Permitted Use

• Vehicles are rented for personal use only.

• Commercial, business, rideshare, delivery, towing, or other for-hire use is strictly prohibited.

Weekend Rentals

• Weekend rentals require a minimum rental period from Friday through Monday.

Reservation and Rental Policy

Apple Rentals reserves the right to refuse service to any applicant who does not meet all eligibility requirements or who is unable to provide the required documentation. All renters are responsible for complying with the terms of the rental agreement and returning the vehicle in the same condition in which it was received, subject to normal wear and tear.
